Novins Golf
The Robert F. Novins Memorial Golf Tournament and Reception exceeded the $115,000 goal commemorating the 15th consecutive year of this event. 200 guests enjoyed live music, food, and an auction at the reception. The golfers battled the heat and rain during the tournament and had a sensational time.
The funds will allow the VIM Clinic to provide free health care for the uninsured residents of Martin County.
Elliott Museum Movie Premiere
“Jane Davis Doggett: Wayfinder in the Jet Age,” a film produced by Pat Williams, premiered at the Elliott Museum for a packed crowd. Appetizers and cocktails were served while Doggett spoke about her life experiences.
Treasure Coast Hopice’s ‘Tea Under The Sea’
Guests enjoyed afternoon tea adventures at Treasure Coast Hospice’s “Tea Under the Sea” at the Pelican Yacht Club. In addition to a delightful lunch, traditional and exotic teas, raffles and a silent auction, the afternoon included a visit from everyone’s favorite mermaid. Proceeds from the event supported Treasure Coast Hospice’s specialized pediatric program, Little Treasures, which provides care for infants, children and adolescents with serious illnesses.

‘Havana Nights’
The festive "Havana Nights" event celebrated Latin dance, art and music. The evening included a special presentation of Flamenco dancing and an art exhibit featuring the works of Jesus Rivera and Robert Wong. David S. Millstone Arts Foundation coordinated “Havana Nights” to benefit the Arts Council of Martin County.

Audi of Stuart celebrated the nationwide reveal of the brand new Audi A3, its newest luxury class vehicle. More than 300 community members attended and enjoyed food, drinks and live DJ entertainment. 11th Annual Purse Auction
The Stuart-Martin County Women’s Council of Realtors held its annual purse auction and luncheon at the Yacht & Country Club in Stuart. Up for bid were new and gently used purses, along with raffles and other prizes all to benefit Friends in Pink.
Rappaport Center Welcomes David Gergen
More than 700 Treasure Coast residents attended a talk with presidential advisor and CNN commentator David Gergen who spoke on the state of the presidency. Rappaport Center at Temple Beit HaYam presented the talk as part of its mission to provide a meeting place for ideas that engage the community in thoughtful conversation, cultural activities and social events.

69th Annual Indiantown Rodeo
A crowd of nearly 8,000 adults and children watched with excitement at Timer Powers Park during the action-packed weekend. The event featured bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping and barrel racing. The Indiantown Rodeo is a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Women’s Pro Rodeo Association sanctioned event.
