Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast ‘ShipWrecked’

The Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast celebrated its annual “Shipwrecked” with a fun adults-only party. Guests arrived in pirate, castaway and mermaid attire and enjoyed island-inspired cuisine as well as live music by A Kiss By A Rose Entertainment.

Dine Around Hobe Sound Progressive Dinner

The seventh annual Dine Around Hobe Sound Progressive Dinner kicked-off at Loblolly with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. Themed cuisine included “Havana Nights,” “Tuscan Feast,” “It's 5:00 Somewhere,” “Crab Boil” and more. A dessert and nightcap after-party took place at Flash Beach Grille.

Sailfish Point Golf Tournament

More than 100 golfers participated in the annual Sailfish Point Golf Tournament for Treasure Coast Hospice. The tournament, followed by an award reception, raised more than $160,000 to help Treasure Coast Hospice provide exceptional, quality end-of-life care to patients and their families in Martin and St. Lucie counties.

Hurricane Dorian Relief Event

Premier Realty Group teamed up with Operation 300 for an event at Carsons Tavern. Raffles and gift baskets were auctioned with all proceeds going directly to Operation 300's Bahamas hurricane relief effort.

Molly’s House Pirates and Pearls Garden Bash

Guests donned their best pirate outfits and pearls for the Molly's House Pirates and Pearls Garden Bash. Those in attendance enjoyed music, live mermaids and pirates, craft cocktails and beers, a silent auction and Caribbean cuisine provided by The Gafford.

The Women’s Council of Realtors Purse Auction

The Women's Council of Realtors held its 13th annual Purse Auction themed “Diamonds and Pearls” at the Stuart Yacht and Country Club, during which a selection of 75 purses was displayed. A portion of the proceeds benefited Friends in Pink and Operation 300 (Bahamas relief funds).

History in the Making Luncheon

CBS News Foreign Correspondent Charlie D'Agata offered guests of the Elliott Museum's annual History in the Making Luncheon a captivating glimpse into a reporter's life from the other side of the camera lens. Held at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa, the benefit helped to support the Museum's many changing exhibits, fascinating collections and varied events and classes.

Michael Shields Memorial Inshore Open

This year's event took place at the River Palm Cottages & Fish Camp, during which guests enjoyed a paella dinner and auctions, all while learning about Project LIFT, an organization that serves young men and women. A Captain's Party and family barbecue were also held during the weekend.

Healthy Glow Airbrush Tanning Grand Opening

The first of its kind on the Treasure Coast, Healthy Glow Airbrush Tanning celebrated a soft opening at its new studio in Jensen Beach. Owner Susan Brand offers customized airbrush tanning to anyone interested in a “healthy glow.” Raffles and giveaways included contributions from many local beauty businesses.

The Young Professionals of Martin County ‘Boss Babes’

Women gathered at the Stuart Center for Couples & Families for connections, friendship and fun. The annual all ladies after-hours focused on celebrating and inspiring “boss babes” in the community. Refreshments were provided as the women enjoyed custom wood signs, hair braiding and brow shaping stations, and shopped discounted clothes and accessories.

Court Room Sessions Opening Night

Striving to break the norm of familiar arts and music within the community, Court Room Sessions returned for its third installment at the Court House Cultural Center. The exhibition featured contemporary works by South Florida artists. Alongside an impressive roster of visual artists, the opening night also featured live musical performances by West Palm Beach-based Holy Dances and Miami-based Monterrey.

Young Life Martin County Golf Classic

A gathering of 100 golfers descended on Sailfish Point Country Club to support Young Life Martin County. Participants enjoyed lunch and an afternoon of golf, followed by more guests arriving for a silent auction and dinner. Proceeds supported YLMC ministries, which sends kids to Young Life camps across the southeast.

The Farm Dog Rescue ‘Black Tie & Tails’

The Farm Dog Rescue held its inaugural “Black Tie & Tails” charity fundraising event at Ristorante Claretta in Palm City, raising more than $30,000. The “Coming Home” themed event celebrated the love stories of all the animals adopted in the organization's first year.

‘Summer of ’69’ Opening Celebration

The Elliott Museum flashed back to 1969 with more than 300 people dressed as hippies gathered to celebrate the opening reception for the “Summer of ‘69” exhibition showing in the museum's Changing Gallery. The exhibit honors the 50th anniversaries of the crew of Apollo 11's landing on the Moon, the Miracle Mets, the war in Vietnam and Woodstock.

Goombay Bash Havana Nights

This year's annual bash set a new record, raising $210,300 for maternity and pediatric care, including the Mother & Baby Home Care Program. Hosted by the Cleveland Clinic Martin Health LifeSavers, more than 750 people turned out for the sold-out event at the Jensen Beach Causeway Park.

Martin county ‘Tikis on the Terrace’

More than 200 supporters attended United Way of Martin County's second annual “Tikis on the Terrace” presented by Bank of America at The Mansion at Tuckahoe. Guests swayed to island tunes and enjoyed traditional Polynesian entertainment, tropical-inspired food and raffle prizes along with a silent auction.

Elev8Hope ‘Friendraiser’

Hosted at Stuart's Kane Center, the organization's “friendraiser” featured Stories of Hope that were shared by families who have benefited from the agency's generous sponsors and donors.

Healthy Start Luncheon

The Healthy Start Luncheon held at Piper's Landing Yacht and Country Club welcomed guests to a special afternoon of discussing the future of the organization. Jack Levine, a consultant to the Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions, was a guest speaker.

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF MARTIN COUNTY SUMMER BASH

Members enjoyed the evening breeze at the annual membership drive, hosted by the Florida Oceanographic Society. They received free entry including food and drinks with raffle proceeds benefiting the Coastal Center.

Madison’s Miracles ‘A Murder Mystery Dinner’

Aycock at Tradition alongside Madison's Miracles hosted the Wild West Murder Mystery Dinner during which local business leaders participated as the cast and worked through clues to solve the mystery. Guests enjoyed a silent auction and raffles in addition to a costume contest and photo booth.
