Molly’s House Rum Runners Row Garden Bash

Molly’s House was transformed into a speakeasy for the inaugural Rum Runners Row Garden Bash, which raised more than $50,000 to fuel the organization’s mission of keeping families together during medical crises.  More than 300 guests enjoyed live music, a murder mystery and a rum tasting.

Hearts for Hope Luncheon

House of Hope's largest fundraiser celebrated its 20th year at Piper's Landing Yacht and Country Club in Palm City. The sold-out event featured a gourmet lunch, complimentary mimosas, raffle baskets, a pop-up House of Hope thrift boutique and the Growing Hope farm stand.

FLORIDA ROOTS OPENING RECEPTION

The Arts Council of Martin County hosted the opening reception of Florida Roots featuring the artworks of Diane Richmond Hall, Donald Neal and Delford Terry at the Court House Cultural Center. The three artists are linked through their shared experience of becoming artists in South Florida and were recruited by a volunteer committee led by Tom Prestopnik who was Delford Terry’s art teacher.

Scher, Esq. and silent auction. The event, held at the 19th Hole & Sandpiper Room at the Saints, focused on raising awareness while empowering others about domestic violence. StarStruck Theatre Gala 2016 starring Vanessa Williams

The highly anticipated show, sponsored by Patricia Lambrecht, did not disappoint. The audience enjoyed a strolling dinner with a funky New York/Miami theater vibe. A performance by StarStruck Theatre’s young artists opened for Broadway superstar, actress and recording artist Vanessa Williams. An insightful “Q&A with Vanessa Williams” followed, facilitated  by Jennifer Jones.

The Frances Langford Fund Awards

The Martin County Community Foundation event took place at Dolphin Bar and Shrimp House in Jensen Beach, and awarded grants totaling $303,620 to seven local non-profits to fund programs in 2018 and 2019. The grants will support work in five categories: literacy, research, social services, training and vocational education.

Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation Rose Ball

The Rose Ball: A Midsummer Night's Dream took place at Mariner Sands Country Club. The garden party-themed event raised more than $135,000 to benefit Treasure Coast Hospice's Little Treasures Pediatric Care program.

Tykes & Teens Festival of Trees & Lights

The annual event attracted approximately 3,000 visitors and raised more than $135,000. Funds from the week-long holiday event support direct patient care, allowing local families in need access to high-quality mental health services for their children.

Aycock at Tradition alongside Madison's Miracles hosted the Wild West Murder Mystery Dinner during which local business leaders participated as the cast and worked through clues to solve the mystery. Guests enjoyed a silent auction and raffles in addition to a costume contest and photo booth.

A grand opening celebration of Amicus Medical Center took place at its new location in Stuart. Guests enjoyed snacks, giveaways and raffle prizes.

The Arts Council of Martin County’s 13th Annual ‘mARTie’s AWARDS’

More than 300 people attended the annual awards ceremony held at St. Mary's Pittenger Center. Guests gathered in the courtyard for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, then moved inside for coffee and dessert while watching performances by the nominees.

Boys & Girls Club of Martin County’s Distinguished Speaker’s Luncheon

Howard Schultz, founder and executive chair of Starbucks, was guest speaker at the sixth annual Distinguished Speaker’s Luncheon series to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County. A sold-out crowd of 230 at Sailfish Point Country Club heard Schultz talk about the positive impact his boyhood membership to the Brownsville (Brooklyn, New York) Boys Club made on his life.

Audi Stuart Woman’s Club VIP Cocktail Party

Audi Stuart transformed its service area into the setting for the Woman’s Club VIP Cocktail Party. The occasion was held as a pre-event party for sponsors, donors and homeowners whose homes were featured on the group’s ninth annual Holiday Home Tour in December, which raised funds for college scholarships and for other programs of the club. This year, $33,000 in scholarships was awarded to eight local high school students and three adult women returning to college.

More than 125 women braved the rain to take their chances at the more than $10,000 in non-invasive plastic surgery giveaways. Cuisine 256 provided appetizers and Smallcakes of Stuart supplied desserts.
