Young Professionals of Martin County hosted its annual Holiday Party at Harborage Yacht Club & Marina with the theme “red hot.” Attendees contributed toys to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin counties.

Friends and supporters gathered at Treasure Coast Food Bank for the announcement that Publix Super Market Charities has donated a new refrigerated truck to the agency, along with $55,000 worth of food. ‘Operation 300’ Gala
In honor of fallen Navy SEAL, Aaron Vaughn, the annual Aaron Vaughn Memorial Frogman Swim fundraiser was held at the Stuart Jet Center. More than 300 guests attended the dinner followed by a live auction and remarks from Sean Parnell, author of "Outlaw Platoon." Proceeds benefited Operation 300.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUB’s ‘STEAK AND STAKE’
It was a full house at the Santa Lucia River Club at Ballantrae for the ninth annual dinner and auction benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County. More than 250 guests bid on a multitude of live and silent auction items, and were entertained by Club members with a dance and fashion show. The event raised more than $86,000 for the organization's programming.
Vero Beach Wine and Film Festival White Party
Guests sipped and savored the experience at Cinema De La Mer, the first super-secret white party held at Royal Palm Pointe Park in Vero Beach. Following a Veuve Clicquot Champagne toast, the dates were announced for the summer—June 8 to 11. After sunset, all enjoyed an open-air screening of “The Colossal Failure of the Modern Relationship."
Private Affair Announces ‘Coastal Detox’ Opening
A private holiday party hosted by Laura and Dean Crawford celebrated the opening of their new venture, Coastal Detox, and also supported the Thomas More Law Center. Attendees were ushered into the event by Martin County High School ROTC students. Guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while learning about the new center.

Hundreds came out to the 40th annual event, with more than 500 boats on display, from small bay boats up to huge 70-foot-plus sport fishermen. The show also featured nearly 170 exhibitors carrying engines, marine electronics and marine accessories from manufacturers worldwide. Stuart Rotary Club Foundation Mayors Gala
The foundation honored the mayors of Stuart with a dinner dance at Mariner Sands Country Club. Along with Mayor Kelli Glass Leighton, many past mayors and family members were in attendance. The Stuart Rotary Club Foundation also awarded the annual “Service Above Self Awards,” which were given to Doris Fenton, Milton Leggett and Dan Parz.
Hurricane Dorian Relief Event
Premier Realty Group teamed up with Operation 300 for an event at Carsons Tavern. Raffles and gift baskets were auctioned with all proceeds going directly to Operation 300's Bahamas hurricane relief effort.
Planned Parenthood of South, East and North Florida’s ‘Cocktails for a Cause’
A gathering of 110 Planned Parenthood supporters came together at a waterfront home during the 11th annual “Cocktails for a Cause” fundraiser. Proceeds from the sold-out fundraiser will ensure access to reproductive health care and information in Martin County and surrounding areas.
Unofficial Arts Fest Kick-Off Party
River House Stuart and realtor Stephen P. Ngo hosted the Unofficial Arts Fest Kick-Off Party at the Design and Sales Center. Members of the arts, real estate and professional communities gathered to celebrate another successful Arts Council of Martin County Arts Fest Weekend with a pop-up gallery and DJ.

More than 850 supporters attended the Goombay Bash at the Jensen Beach Causeway. LifeBuilders of the Treasure Coast’s Cocktail Par-tee
Attendees were treated to an “Around the World” theme during LifeBuilders of the Treasure Coast’s sixth annual Cocktail Par-tee. Supporters raised nearly $70,000, of which 91 percent will go toward helping low-income Treasure Coast families who have connections to the criminal or dependency court system within the 19th circuit.
Safespace’s ‘Every Woman Is My Sister’ Event
New York Times best-selling author and domestic violence survivor Leslie Morgan Steiner was the keynote speaker for this annual event, held at Sailfish Point Country Club. More than 200 SafeSpace supporters listened to her compelling story and celebrated survivors of domestic violence who have victoriously created safer lives for themselves and their children. The event raised more than $70,000 to support SafeSpace programs and services.
Aaron Vaughn Memorial Frogman Swim Kick-off Dinner
A kick-off dinner party was held for the Aaron Vaughn Memorial Frogman Swim Race to honor the member of DEVGRU SEAL Team VI who was killed in action in 2011 in Afghanistan. From its inception, the swim was designed to honor Vaughn by raising money to care for children who have lost a parent fighting for our country. Stuart Jet Center was a sponsor of the kick-off dinner.
St. Lucie Battery and Tire Grand Opening Fundraiser
St. Lucie Battery and Tire welcomed clients, friends and local businesspeople to the ribbon cutting at its 14th location on U.S. Highway 1 in Port St. Lucie. Staff grilled hamburgers and hot dogs while Stuart Magazine provided a variety of drinks. Funds raised were donated to the St. Lucie Battery and Tire Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team.
