Molly’s House Polo Classic

The annual Polo Classic benefiting Molly’s House raised more than $60,000 for the organization. This outing brings internationally known polo players to the Port Mayaca Polo Club in Okeechobee for a day of competition and fun, in addition to a “best hat” contest, a dressage presentation, a special VIP party, a car show and the traditional halftime Champagne divot stomp.

Women Supporting the Arts Annual Reception

The women’s organization honored and recognized the current year’s grant recipients for the work they do to enhance the arts community. Since 2004, more than $305,000 in grants have been awarded to artists and arts-related programs.

United Way of Martin County kicked off its annual campaign with a crowd of 200 attendees at its Community Leaders Breakfast. United Way’s new president and CEO, Carol G. Houwaart-Diez, made her first public speech and introduced the 2016-17 campaign team. Robert L. Lord Jr., Martin Health System president and CEO, was the keynote speaker.

Michael Shields Memorial Inshore Open

This year's event took place at the River Palm Cottages & Fish Camp, during which guests enjoyed a paella dinner and auctions, all while learning about Project LIFT, an organization that serves young men and women. A Captain's Party and family barbecue were also held during the weekend.

Classics At The Beach Pre-Show Cocktail Party

Infiniti Stuart got the Elliott Museum's 23rd annual Classics at the Beach Car Show off to a start with a pre-show at its showroom. Exhibitors and friends of the Elliott enjoyed an evening of wining, dining and live music. The event was set against an impressive display of vintage automobiles.

Elliott Museum’s Watercolor Opening Exhibition

The Elliott Museum presented the prestigious Florida Watercolor Society's Traveling Exhibition. Onlookers viewed the 35 pieces on display, which were selected from more than 600 submissions. The Elliott is one of only two museums in the country to be selected for this prestigious show.

Project Lift Meet and Greet

Supporters attended a cocktail party at Sailfish Point Country Club to celebrate the successful work Project LIFT has accomplished to improve the lives of at-risk teenagers. Sailfish Point residents Hank and Ellen Libby along with Kevin and Peggy Bousquette hosted the event.

Goombay Bash Havana Nights

This year's annual bash set a new record, raising $210,300 for maternity and pediatric care, including the Mother & Baby Home Care Program. Hosted by the Cleveland Clinic Martin Health LifeSavers, more than 750 people turned out for the sold-out event at the Jensen Beach Causeway Park.

TYKES & TEENS FESTIVAL OF TREES & LIGHTS

More than 3,000 people attended the 10th annual Festival of Trees at Flagler Place in downtown Stuart, which featured 75 decorated holiday trees, wreaths and centerpieces that were showcased at several special events, including a VIP cocktail party and live auction, “Joy to the Girls! Ladies Night,” and breakfast and photos with Santa. The event raised more than $110,000 for Tykes & Teens to provide vital mental health services to local children and families in crisis.

The Pine School Evening of Celebration – Bollywood Knights

The Pine School welcomed 210 guests for a Bollywood-themed event at the 142-acre campus in Hobe Sound. Guests dressed in authentic attire and enjoyed a three-course dinner, silent and live auctions and dancing.
