A grand opening celebration of Amicus Medical Center took place at its new location in Stuart. Guests enjoyed snacks, giveaways and raffle prizes.

The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast Purse Party

The Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast hosted its 10th annual purse party at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club. Designer handbags, shoes, fun accessories and jewelry surrounded guests who enjoyed a tasty signature “flocktail” cocktail. Proceeds from the event support community educational outreach for students, classrooms and camp scholarships.

Holiday Home Tour VIP party

Alan Franciosi, general manager of Infiniti Stuart, hosted a VIP cocktail party to kick off the Woman's Club of Stuart's annual Holiday Home Tour. About 100 guests attended the party in Infiniti's showroom.

Mariner Sands Charity Week

Mariner Sands Charity Week was “Off to the Races” with its kick off for a week-long calendar of events. Each year residents of Mariner Sands raise funds for local charities. Since its inception, Charity Week has given close to $2.5 million to Martin County charities serving the needy, particularly children.

Dancing with The Martin Stars

Nine talented and inspiring community stars and their partners danced to a sold-out crowd at the Lyric Theatre. The sixth annual event charmed audiences, built upon its continued success and reached a new fundraising record. More than $167,000 was raised to benefit the Martin County Healthy Start Coalition.

‘Art is Everywhere Tour’

The Woman’s Club of Stuart held its second annual “Art is Everywhere Tour,” which showcased a variety of artwork in various homes throughout the community. A reception followed at the Twisted Craft and Creamery where guests enjoyed light refreshments. Proceeds from the Tour will provide scholarships for middle and high school girls in Martin County pursuing the visual and performing arts.

Place of Hope’s Sea of Hope Luncheon

Nearly 230 guests adorned tropical attire during Place of Hope's Sea of Hope Luncheon “A Day in Old Havana” at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club. Guests were treated to hand-rolled cigars, a live four-piece band, raffles and silent and live auctions.

House of Hope Awards Presentation

The annual Hope Awards hosted an elegant breakfast at the Mariner Sands Country Club. CEO Rob Ranieri presented 20 awards that recognized the talent and philanthropy demonstrated by local businesses, organizations, partner agencies and individuals, all of whom have provided ongoing and meaningful contributions of time, expertise and other resources to House of Hope.

Sailors and supporters gathered to bid on auction items, enjoy delicious food and entertainment, and raise a glass in support of the highly successful high school sailing program. Nearly 80 local students participated in weekly classes and raced in regattas. Young Life Martin County Golf Classic

A gathering of 100 golfers descended on Sailfish Point Country Club to support Young Life Martin County. Participants enjoyed lunch and an afternoon of golf, followed by more guests arriving for a silent auction and dinner. Proceeds supported YLMC ministries, which sends kids to Young Life camps across the southeast.

The 13th annual mARTies Awards, presented by the Arts Council of Martin County, celebrated both professional and student achievement in the visual, performing and literary arts at St. Mary’s and Pittenger Center.

Treasure Coast Wildlife Center’s “Ghoula”

A fictional ghoula coven of witches hosted the annual “Ghoula” fundraising event that took place in a spooky plantation house on the outskirts of Indiantown. Guests dressed up in costume for an intimate evening of fun to raise proceeds meant to aid the Treasure Coast Wildlife Center’s mission in helping sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in the Treasure Coast.

Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County’s Leadership Dinner

More than 200 guests attended the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County’s Annual Leadership Dinner held at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club. Archer, conservationist and photographer Alto “Bud” Adams Jr. was presented with the Pete Hegener Leadership Award, given to a dedicated business leader who has made significant contributions to St. Lucie County’s economy and quality of life. 

HEATHCOTE BOTANICAL GARDENS HOLIDAY CELEBRATION

Heathcote Botanical Gardens was a kaleidoscope of color this holiday season with thousands of light displays shimmering throughout the 5-acre gardens. More than 11,700 guests visited the gardens during the six-weekend event.
