The Lyric League’s ‘Thank You’ Party
A thank you party was hosted in honor of the sponsors of the inaugural Youth Arts Celebration, where 27 performances took place by 65 emerging young artists. The Celebration raised more than $25,000 for The Lyric Theatre’s arts and education programs.

Castle’s ‘holiday magic’ gala
The 20th annual event took place at the Treasure Coast Lexus showroom. More than 300 supporters were treated to food, spirits and live music. The event culminated with a winning of a two-year lease for a 2017 Lexus ES350 after a spirited set of bids. The proceeds will significantly impact the ability to prevent child abuse and neglect on the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee counties.
Dinner With Friends
Towering figures in the Treasure Coast arts world gathered at the home of artist Skip Hartzell for Stuart Magazine's annual "dinner party" feature, highlighted in the April issue. Guests mingled over hors d'oeuvres and wine with various topics discussed during a gourmet dinner created by Ooo-La-La Catering.

Authors were the celebrities at “A Literary Affair” presented by the Library Foundation of Martin County. One hundred sponsors enjoyed meeting 13 authors over cocktails and dinner. Caring Fields Felines held its annual “Merry Meows Festival” fundraiser featuring food, drink, music and a silent auction. Martin Health Foundation presented the Women In Philanthropy Health Summit at Piper’s Landing Yacht & Country Club, focusing on the latest advancements in breast cancer treatments. This year’s summit featured guest speaker Craig Wengler M.D.
11TH ANNUAL ‘POINSETTIA POWER!’ LUNCHEON
Nearly 200 attendees convened at the Kane Center to enjoy a day of holiday shopping from local vendors, along with a fabulous fashion show produced by Women’s Power Lunch. A new fundraising record was set to benefit the Council on Aging of Martin County’s Meals on Wheels program, raising nearly $60,000 to feed 8,500 Meals on Wheels to homebound, low-income seniors.
‘MORNINGS ON MAINSTREET’ breakfast
Nearly 50 members and guests gathered for the bi-monthly networking breakfast at Ground Floor Farms, an urban farm and community space. The main topic discussed was on the success of partnerships in our area that help create a vibrant and thriving downtown.
Humane Society’s ‘Mutt March
Hundreds of animal lovers attended the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast’s 14th annual event. Highlights included a 5K run and Dog Jog, a flea market full of vendors, doggie photo booth, lure course, fun-run and the grand finale—a pet costume contest. Held at Memorial Park in Stuart, the event raised nearly $40,000, which will go toward the care of the shelters' animals in Palm City.
Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast ‘Glitter & Glam’ Gala
The Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast hosted its inaugural gala themed a “Night at the Oscars” at Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club. In total, proceeds from the evening topped $100,000 with the Huizenga Family Foundation donating $20,000 to match its initial $20,000 gift.

Clients enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while touring the historical 1925 Marvista Estate in Stuart. The client appreciation party held a toy drive with donations going to Place of Hope.
Heathcote Botanical Gardens’ ‘Bonsai Bash’
Heathcote Botanical Gardens was in full bloom during the “Bonsai Bash: East Meets West.” Guests enjoyed cocktails and a silent auction, and strolled among illuminated flowers while the Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society’s Sunrise Party Band played standards on the Main Lawn. An assortment of “small bowls” to commemorate the Chinese New Year was offered. Proceeds from the evening benefit the James J. Smith Bonsai Collection.

The sixth annual luncheon featured keynote speaker Robin J. Scher, Esq. and silent auction. The event, held at the 19th Hole & Sandpiper Room at the Saints, focused on raising awareness while empowering others about domestic violence. A traditional New England meal was enjoyed by a record crowd of 200 committed individuals who attended the Annual Clam Bake and Comedy Show, held at Sandsprit Park.
