Octane & Opulence II Opening
The Elliott Museum hosted the opening of its Octane & Opulence II: Gentlemen Prefer Race Cars exhibit in conjunction with the museum's annual Classics at the Beach Car Show. Owners of the race cars lent helmets, uniforms, posters and other artifacts to complement the exhibition.
House of Hope Bash
More than 140 guests attended a private fundraiser hosted by Dr. Daniel and Marlena Husted at their waterfront home to raise support for House of Hope's rapidly growing health and nutrition initiatives. The evening featured a variety of Roaring '20s touches including a preserved antique car, premium cigars, gold-dusted cocktails and an ice sculptured vintage coupe.
Paws and Claws Gala
Supporters of the organization helped raise more than $265,000 during this year's Paws and Claws Gala themed “Salty Dogs and Cat-A-Marans” at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa. Guests dressed in coastal cocktail attire to go along with the theme, participated in silent and live auctions and danced to the sounds of NuVibe Entertainment.
The Ultimate Tailgate Party
Voices for Children hosted its second annual Ultimate Tailgate Party at Treasure Coast Lexus. Guests were greeted by two members of the Miami Dolphins Cheerleading Squad, and the celebration continued with cocktails, appetizers, games and a wine toss.
Boys & Girls Club of Martin County Youth of the Year
During a reception at Willoughby Golf Club, the Boys & Girls Club of Martin County selected its Youth of the Year candidate. The evening also featured live music and a keynote address by Anthony Davis, executive director of the Port Salerno Club.
The Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute Foundation ‘Love Your Lagoon’
The eighth annual sold-out event took place at the Quail Valley River Club, raising critical funding to benefit research and outreach on the Indian River Lagoon by the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute at FAU (HBOI). Proceeds from the event will fund the 2019 Indian River Lagoon Graduate Research Fellows program.
Environmental Studies Council Havana Nights Gala
Lehr and Paul Filipe opened up their tropical oasis home to friends and supporters of the Environmental Studies Council for the Havana Nights gala. Guests enjoyed an evening of entertainment, Cuban cuisine and a silent auction.
Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation Rose Ball
The Rose Ball: A Midsummer Night's Dream took place at Mariner Sands Country Club. The garden party-themed event raised more than $135,000 to benefit Treasure Coast Hospice's Little Treasures Pediatric Care program.

Mary's Shelter of the Treasure Coast celebrated its seventh annual gala at Willoughby Golf Club. Evening festivities included dinner, dancing, cocktails, entertainment and a live auction.

The Library Foundation of Martin County and the Martin County Library System kicked off the 25th anniversary of BookMania! with A Literary Affair, the VIP cocktail party held the evening prior at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa.
Project Lift Meet and Greet

Nearly 230 guests adorned tropical attire during Place of Hope's Sea of Hope Luncheon “A Day in Old Havana” at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club. Guests were treated to hand-rolled cigars, a live four-piece band, raffles and silent and live auctions.
Bonsai Bash
Garden lovers gathered at Heathcote Botanical Gardens for the ninth annual Bonsai Bash themed “Under the Asian Moon.” Guests started the evening in the Bonsai Gallery for the largest public assemblage of tropical bonsai on permanent display before enjoying dinner, music and an auction.

United Way of Martin County Foundation Frances Langford Humanitarian Award Reception
The organization honored Joe and Margaret Richebourg Temple with the 2019 Frances Langford Humanitarian Award during a reception held at Sailfish Point Country Club. The couple was honored for their ongoing philanthropic endeavors directly benefiting United Way as well as a multitude of non-profit organizations throughout the community.
The Great Chef Adventure
Samaritan Center for Young Boys & Families held its signature event, the Great Chef Adventure, at Willoughby Golf Club. More than 175 guests feasted on a three-course luncheon prepared by some of the area's best chefs. The live and silent auctions helped to benefit the organization's scholarship fund.
Literacy Award Luncheon
The Library Foundation of Martin County and Knight Kiplinger honored May Smyth as this year's recipient of the Kiplinger Literacy Award during the Literacy Award Luncheon at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club. The luncheon featured Kiplinger as the keynote speaker who gave his perspective on finance and politics.
Young Professionals of Martin County Installation Luncheon
The organization held its annual Installation Luncheon at Hutchinson Island Marriott, which welcomed the 2019 board of directors as they honor the mission of YPMC: to provide a platform for young Martin County to be successful through connection, education and service.
Hibiscus Children’s Center ‘All That Jazz Casino Night’
Nearly 200 guests dressed in “Roaring '20s” attire and enjoyed a casino-night themed evening at Mariner Sands Country Club. The event included a cocktail hour, casino games, dinner and a musical performance of “All That Jazz” by Jessica Santana.
Humane Society of the Treasure Coast Donor & Sponsor Appreciation Reception
More than 100 of the organization's annual donors and sponsors were recognized for their generous commitment during the annual Donor & Sponsor Appreciation Reception at Geoffrey C. Smith Galleries. Guests were also invited to attend the show “Mutts Gone Nuts” at the Lyric Theatre following the reception.
