Alzheimer's Community Care held its annual “Hello Spring” luncheon at the Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club. The event raised more than $40,000, which will go to services for families facing Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

Mary’s Shelter Fashion Show & Luncheon

Mary's Shelter celebrated its ninth annual Fashion Show & Luncheon at Willoughby Golf Club with WPTV News Channel 5's Kelley Dunn as the emcee for the program. Guests enjoyed a fashion show hosted by the Seaside Sisters in addition to auction items and vendor boutiques.

Seminole Bluff Groundbreaking

Local dignitaries attended the groundbreaking on the banks of the St. Lucie River for Seminole Bluff, Florida's limited-edition, luxury waterfront residences, which are officially underway in construction.

The Jupiter Island Club was decked out in Bollywood decor for an elegant cocktail reception and silent auction to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County. A tribute to supporter Ros Clark took place along with a live auction led by Tim Luke.

Place of Hope’s Sporting Clays Fun Shoot

Nearly 340 people took aim during Place of Hope's seventh annual Sporting Clays Fun Shoot at the South Florida Shooting Club. The fundraiser combined the competition of clay shooting with supporting foster children in the community.

Economic Council of martin county Dinner

The organization held its annual dinner at Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa where the board of directors was sworn in by Martin County's newest judge, Jennifer Waters.  Frank DiBello, president and CEO of Space Florida was the guest speaker.

The grand opening block party for Wave Hair Studio and Flutter Lash & Beauty Boutique took place at its location in downtown Stuart. Patrons enjoyed braid designs and a fresh flower bar over wine and appetizers.

Hearts for Hope Luncheon

House of Hope's largest fundraiser celebrated its 20th year at Piper's Landing Yacht and Country Club in Palm City. The sold-out event featured a gourmet lunch, complimentary mimosas, raffle baskets, a pop-up House of Hope thrift boutique and the Growing Hope farm stand.

Beast & Bourbon Dinner

The Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary Club hosted its annual Beast and Bourbon Dinner at Tutto Fresco Italian Restaurant. Guests enjoyed a five-course meal pairing with specialty bourbons to benefit local veterans groups.

Martin Artisans Guild Martin County Open Studio Tour

Participating artists and the public were invited to attend the launch of the Martin County Open Studio Tour at Geoffrey Smith Galleries for a preview of the three-day tour. Guests were greeted with a sampling of original artworks as well as appetizers, live music, an open bar and beverages.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County Donor Appreciation

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Martin County hosted an appreciation event for its supporters at a private motor-showroom. Guest were entertained by a string quartet ensemble of young students, and former club member chef Howard Farro provided the food and was a guest speaker.

Friends of the ACO Benefit Concert Series

Guests experienced the talents of world-renowned pianist Alon Goldstein during a benefit concert held at Willoughby Golf Club. After, attendees had the opportunity to meet with Goldstein and ACO Maestro David Amado during a cocktail reception.

Geoffrey C. Smith Galleries in Port Salerno hosted the opener for its collectors. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were served as guests mingled throughout the gallery filled with sculptures and paintings.

Heathcote Botanical Gardens’ Garden of Lights

Locals who attended the holiday event were able to walk through 5 acres of gardens that were illuminated with thousands of lights handcrafted into colorful seasonal and whimsical garden displays.

Founding Friends of Treasure Coast Hospice Opening Meeting

The organization held its opening meeting at the Harbour Ridge home of Rabbi Dannel Schwartz and Suzi Romanik. During the meeting, the group presented Jacki Nardone, director of Grief Support and Pediatric Services at Treasure Coast Hospice, with a $40,000 check.

Poinsettia Power! Holiday Bazaar, Luncheon and Fashion Show

The Council on Aging of Martin County's annual fundraiser for Meals on Wheels took place at The Kane Center and raised more than $87,000, exceeding the goal of funding 10,000 meals for low-income, homebound seniors.

Martin County Community Foundation Holiday Gathering

Martin County Community Foundation hosted a holiday celebration at its new Stuart location. New and existing board members along with guests were welcomed to ring in the season and celebrate the spirit of philanthropy in the community.

Seminole Bluff Party

A crowd of art supporters and Lyric Theatre patrons gathered for a pre-concert party at the Geoffrey C. Smith Gallery in downtown Stuart to welcome world-class violinist and composer Itzhak Perlman. The event was underwritten by developer John J. Doyle of Seminole Bluff, a new development of waterfront condominium homes in downtown Stuart.

‘We Made Room at the Inn for You’

Steven Vitale, owner of the Old Colorado Inn and five historic homes on Seminole Street, which have been remodeled into charming guest cottages, made the buildings available to Mary's Shelter to use as a fundraising event. The event helped to raise funds to benefit the organization.
