The Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2nd annual Progressive Dinner, with guests gathering at Taste Casual Dining for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction. They then separated and progressed to one of nine homes for a dinner party. Scooters played host to the official after party with dancing late into the night. ‘Dress for Success in the Tropics’ Fashion Show
A group of 75 women came together for the inaugural Women's Council of Realtors Stuart-Martin Chapter “Dress for Success in the Tropics” fashion show. Taking place at Yacht & Country Club Clubhouse in Stuart, the event featured lunch, shopping, networking and fashions with proceeds benefitting Safe Space of the Treasure Coast.
‘MORNINGS ON MAINSTREET’ breakfast
Nearly 50 members and guests gathered for the bi-monthly networking breakfast at Ground Floor Farms, an urban farm and community space. The main topic discussed was on the success of partnerships in our area that help create a vibrant and thriving downtown.

More than 76 participants, from novices to straight shooters, put their marksmanship to the test at the Kiwanis Challenge fundraiser. The sporting clay tournament was held at the exclusive South Florida Shooting Club. BullSugar’s ‘Fund the Fight’
Bullsugar.org hosted an evening of tribute and proactive fundraising called “Fund the Fight” at River Palms Cottages to celebrate the passage of Senate Bill 10. Guests toasted to those who helped with the southern reservoir bill and positive forward movement toward ending toxic discharges to the St. Lucie and Caloosahatchee, and sending fresh water to the Everglades and Florida Bay.
Elev8hope Casino Night
The Casino Night was held at Indian Riverside Park with more than 300 people in attendance. Guests rolled the dice to celebrate and support Elev8hope’s mission, raising a total of $75,000.
Celebrities fore kids fundraiser
The Moulin Rouge-themed event was held at The Club at Admirals Cove. Cocktails and a silent auction started off the evening followed with dinner, entertainment and a live auction. Funds raised went toward the Patient Assistance Program, which provides financial support for children and their families during a medical crisis.
Hobe Sound Golf Club’s ‘Evening with Gary Player’
Hobe Sound Golf Club welcomed its members to a special “Evening with Gary Player” event. An honorary member at Hobe Sound Golf Club, Player is the most successful international golfer of all time and has raised more than $62 million for underprivileged children’s education globally through the efforts of The Player Foundation and the Gary Player Invitational.

The Friends of the Martin County Library System held “Booked for Lunch” at Piper’s Landing Yacht and Country Club in Palm City with author Scott Eyman as the featured speaker. TREASURE COAST FOUNDATION’S ‘THANKS FOR GIVING’
The Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation held its “Thanks for Giving” reception and dinner at Pietro’s on the River. The annual event recognized outstanding commitment to the Treasure Health mission.
‘CORKS AND COLLARS’ Dinner
The fundraiser, held at Ristorante Claretta in Palm City, benefited Dogs and Cats Forever, a no-kill animal sanctuary. Director Jay Apicella was awarded with a lifetime service award, giving 20 years of her life to the organization. More than $15,000 was raised.

Held at Sailfish Point Country Club, the evening commemorated the Orchestra’s landmark 25th anniversary season and Maestro Stewart Robertson for his artistic leadership since 2004. The benefit concert featured award-winning pianist Lindsay Garritson and cellist Ashley Garritson. The Kentucky Derby Party benefiting JDRF
Kevin and Georgiana Hawken welcomed guests to their Stuart home for a party held in honor of Preston Honea who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 7 years old. Guests enjoyed Southern fare, sipped on mint juleps and donated to the local Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation chapter in Preston’s honor. The event raised $6,000.
Children’s museum gives thanks
The Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast gathered to celebrate and thank the individuals, businesses and corporations that have supported the Museum's mission at a champion level during the years. These philanthropic leaders are the key to the museum's continued success.
Audubon of Martin County Soiree
Friends at the Audubon celebrated long-standing members who have participated in the success of the society and welcomed its new members. Nonmembers were also invited to learn more about Audubon. Treasure Coast Wildlife brought a rehabilitating Crested-Caracara and gave a brief lecture on the Cara, its habits and habitats. Nearly 80 people attended the get-together.

Meritage Home’s Langford Landing Grand Opening
The anticipated grand opening of Meritage Home’s Langford Landing community allowed more than 200 attendees to tour the St. Croix and St. Kitts models. Langford Landing is a gated community of 60 homesites and features a private marina, which has direct access to the St. Lucie River and Stuart Inlet.
