The 1860 Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse—our area’s most treasured landmark! Today, the Loxahatchee River Historical Society operates and beautifully preserves the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum, providing memorable experiences to families, students and visitors from around the world. The Lighthouse site includes a restored 1940 History Museum; 1892 Tindall Pioneer Homestead; 1920s Keeper’s Workshop; and natural habitat walkways. Educational programs and exhibits showcase a unique 5,000 year-old history. Annual events include Sea Fest for Kids, Wild & Scenic Film Festival and Autism Family Night at the Light. Provides free admission for active-duty US Military & families year round.
