CAHH seeks to provide respite to those receiving a devastating cancer diagnosis. The organization has helped more than 2,500 cancer patients and their families who live and/or receive treatment in Palm Beach County and dispersed over $2.5 million. CAHH focuses on assisting patients with their ordinary living expenses such as rent and mortgage, auto and health insurance, car payments and food. We use volunteers in a variety of ways, from office assistance to fundraising, event planning and support.More Details
Caring Children Clothing Children7985 SW Jack James Drive Stuart FL 34997About Charity: Founded in 1997, the mission of Caring Children Clothing Children is to provide clothing, new socks, underwear and shoes, as well as reading and math intervention and literacy materials, at no cost to children in need in Martin County. The clothing that we distribute is “gently-used” and given to children who qualify as living at or below the poverty level. Sixty-five local schools and social service agencies refer children to our 4Cs store, located in Stuart. Our reading and math tutoring programs take place in five Martin County elementary schools. Volunteers are utilized in our store to assist families with shopping and in our store library, as well as for tutoring in the schools. Donations are always accepted.More Details
