    The Environmental Studies Council was established to support, protect and enhance the unique environmental education programs of the Environmental Studies Center. The Council promotes and extends environmental awareness through community education and supports the Center’s science-based, hands-on environmental education curriculum to students in Martin County. The Council most recently raised funds for a new classroom exhibit, the sea turtle exhibit, and renovations to the River Scout, the Center’s boat used for exploratory field trips.
