Step back in time with the Stuart Community Concert Band as they bring the spirit and sound of the 1920’s Prohibition Era to life in an unforgettable concert celebration! This lively program captures the music, energy, and nostalgia of the Roaring Twenties and promises an afternoon filled with toe-tapping tunes and timeless charm.
Audience members will enjoy a variety of beloved selections, including the nostalgic classic “As Time Goes By,” the spirited storytelling favorite “Casey at the Bat,”and the dazzling medley “Irving Berlin Showstoppers,”highlighting some of the legendary composer’s greatest hits. The band will also perform “Tin Pan Alley!”, a vibrant tribute to the golden age of American songwriting that shaped the soundtrack of the early 20th century.
