Dr. Rachel Squier

Dr. Rachel Squier is the only boardcertified female prosthodontist in Florida. As if that weren’t impressive enough, there are an approximate 3,500 prosthodontists in the United States who comprise a slim 1.5 percent of all practicing dentists. The reason? It is a highly specialized profession. “The prosthodontist is best known as the architect of your dental project,” she says. “They have the vision of your outcome–both the esthetics of your smile and the improved function of your bite.” Prosthodontists, who restore and replace teeth, receive extensive training in dental cosmetics during their graduate programs. After earning her bachelor’s degree in biology from Harvard University, Dr. Squier attended dental school at the University of Connecticut. At UCONN, she also completed her specialty residency and earned her master’s degree. Her practice, Treasure Coast Dental, offers such procedures as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures and veneers. “In addition to being a specialist with an ability to treat complex conditions, I do provide general dentistry services,” she says. “I like to emphasize my extensive training and expertise, but I want patients to consider seeing us because we are thoughtful and meticulous in our care. I treat patients as I would like to be treated: with exceptional care in a warm and professional environment.”
