Hundreds of animal lovers attended the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast’s 14th annual event. Highlights included a 5K run and Dog Jog, a flea market full of vendors, doggie photo booth, lure course, fun-run and the grand finale—a pet costume contest. Held at Memorial Park in Stuart, the event raised nearly $40,000, which will go toward the care of the shelters’ animals in Palm City.
