The Elliott Museum flashed back to 1969 with more than 300 people dressed as hippies gathered to celebrate the opening reception for the “Summer of ‘69” exhibition showing in the museum’s Changing Gallery. The exhibit honors the 50th anniversaries of the crew of Apollo 11’s landing on the Moon, the Miracle Mets, the war in Vietnam and Woodstock.
