From scenic trail hikes to creative workshops, plus hands-on learning experiences like “Simply Rooted: A Farm Education Series” and an Earth Day celebration, there’s always something to add to the calendar.
Friday Night Farm Jam
Unwind and kick off the weekend at the Friday Night Farm Jam April 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. The evening features live music from local bands and bites from food trucks. Guests can bring their own coolers to keep drinks on hand and spread out a blanket on the lawn.
Coffee Tasting
The experts from Newfield’s resident coffee shop, 3 Baristas, will have a variety of coffees to try April 5, from 10 a.m. to noon. Seasoned coffee lovers and curious newcomers are welcome to journey through the flavors, aromas, and nuances of coffee.
Full Moon Owl Prowl at KC Trails
During the full moon on April 11, Florida master naturalist and President of Audubon of Martin County John Nelson will offer expert insight about the owls that inhabit the area, their habits, and how they navigate the dark. Listen for the calls of these mysterious creatures and enjoy a peaceful, immersive journey through Florida’s nocturnal wildlife.
Flower Basket Workshop
Spring is in full swing during this delightful hands-on flower arranging class at Newfield Farm. Surrounded by blooming fields and fresh country air, guests will learn the art of floral design.
Sunrise Yoga
Find your flow at Sunset Yoga on the lawn on April 19. This peaceful outdoor practice is suitable for participants of all levels. Don’t forget your mat and water. Registration is $10.

Easter Egg Hunt at Newfield Farm
Celebrate Easter early at this Easter egg hunt for all ages on April 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bring your own basket to collect eggs and special prizes.
Earth Day Sip & Paint
On April 22, indulge in an evening of creativity, relaxation, and fun in the Newfield Barn. This event offers the perfect opportunity to unwind, enjoy great company, and create your own masterpiece. Drinks and light refreshments will be served. Artists of all levels ages 13 and older are welcome.
Simply Rooted: A Farm Education Series
Join the Newfield Farm team for an engaging and hands-on class about seeds and seed starting April 26. In this class, learn about essential techniques for starting plants from seeds, including seed biology, choosing the right seeds, creating the perfect growing environment, and caring for seedlings as they sprout and grow.
