Lilly Pulitzer is a fashion staple among women in South Florida, with its colorful prints celebrating the joy of vibrant living. The brand exploded in Palm Beach in the 1950s, and now the legacy continues locally with a recently opened boutique in Hobe Sound.
Lilly’s senior director of brand marketing Eleni McCready says opening a store in Hobe Sound made sense, as the area fits the vibe of the brand. “Hobe Sound is one of Florida’s best kept secrets,” says McCready. “It’s a laid-back, friendly town, which is the perfect example of a relaxed resort lifestyle. It’s an ideal home for Lilly Pulitzer.”
The new Lilly store, situated next to Posh Pineapple by Juno on SE Dixie Highway, is equal parts destination and experience. The warm, welcoming resort-inspired environment is bursting with chic confidence and optimism in the form of color and design. A roomy and luxurious fitting room lounge, along with plenty of places to sit and gather, encourages relaxing shopping excursions with friends or family. While trying on pieces, take note of your surroundings and you’ll see nods to the area woven into the design of the space, including local landmarks and a painted and shelled dressing room. Outside, notes McCready, there is a beautiful area for customers to sit that’s fully landscaped with a lush,
tropical setting.
Lilly fans know that the inventory of clothing, accessories, jewelry, and home goods is ever changing. Each season brings new prints inspired by the travels and dream destinations of the in-house design studio and translated into lush florals, menageries of exotic animals, enchanting underwater scenes, and other dynamic creations.
Says McCready: “Our prints are always hand-painted, the colors are optimistic and happy, and our styles offer a resort chic aesthetic that, as a brand based in Palm Beach, we know best.” 11764 SE Dixie Hwy., Hobe Sound; 772.402.4003
