Stretch, breathe, and explore an artistic experience at Zen, Arts, Mindfulness (ZAM) Fest at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Event Center in Port St. Lucie April 23-24. Previously called the Treasure Coast Arts & Mindfulness Fest, the family-friendly event showcases the healing powers of zen, arts, mindfulness, and wellness during the day, and world class entertainment on the main stage at night with headline performances by Ton Loc, Diamond Rio, and Tag Team.

An array of art vendors will display works for sale in mediums including: watercolor, oil, and acrylic paintings; and original handmade jewelry, fiberglass, and other handmade and custom products. Wellness and mindfulness specialists will also be on-site with essential oils, natural soaps, and incense, as well as onsite services like acupuncture, massage therapy, and Eastern medicine. Guests can participate in hourly yoga, meditation, and a drum circle by Kevin BeatKeeper on both days. Reserve a free spot here.

The Alliance Art Guild will display two special exhibitions, “I’m Still Standing” and “Glimpse of Glimmer: A Glow Show,” open to the public. “I’m Still Standing,” a collaboration with the Inner Truth Project, paired 12 sexual assault survivors with artists to create works of art from recycled and upcycled material, reflecting the powerful stories transformation of survivors of sexual assault. “Glimpse of Glimmer: A Glow Show,” is a preview of a special interactive, environmental experience created by a group of local artists thinking outside of the box! The full exhibition will be on display at the Alliance Gallery October 21 through November 12, with special opening and closing receptions to celebrate this imaginative, colorful kickoff to the Cultural Alliance’s 2022-2023 Season.

Cultural Alliance Music Guild members slated to perform during the Saturday lineup include Apollo Vega, The Caribbean American Cultural Group, Gary Palmer, and Jennifer Starr. On Sunday, catch performances from Joette Giorgis Classical Strings, Will Vaughn, 2 Saxy, a musical duo featuring Harry and Leslie Fager, and Bruce Bernstein’s Saxophone Expressions.
