The Arts Foundation for Martin County is currently staging its thirty-fifth annual Marvin S. Cone High School Juried Arts Show at the Court House Cultural Center in downtown Stuart. The exhibited works were submitted for consideration in the organization’s eighteenth annual mARTies Awards and selected by judges. Visitors can tour works by talented local high school students through Thursday, May 27.

Featured works include “Marine Imitation” by Best of Show winner and Jensen Beach High School student Cassidy Bean, “Side Eye” by photography winner and Martin County High School student, and “The Three Little Pigs” by sculpture winner and South Fork High School student Paulina Mateo Antonio.

The organization held its 18th annual mARTies Awards to celebrate young artists’ talent and creativity, as well as their contributions in the community. This year’s ceremony was held at the Barn Theatre in Stuart. Students had the opportunity to perform and exhibit their artwork to family, friends, and members of the community in attendance. Each student award recipient earned a $500 scholarship. View the list of winners here.
