Big Taste of Martin County: Dine-in, Takeout, and Delivery, the annual fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties, kicked off on Thursday, October 1. This year’s event, presented by Publix Super Markets Charities, will place special emphasis on the Treasure Coast’s dining industry, which has taken a hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all month long.

The 2020 Big Taste of Martin County: Dine-in, Takeout, and Delivery will feature Big Deal Passes, which offer the community a variety of specials from area restaurants offering “big deals.” Guests who purchase passes will be able to redeem the offers all month long. Throughout October, Big Brothers Big Sisters will host an online raffle and release silent auction items from October 19 to 23.

“The Big Taste of Martin County: Dine-in, Takeout, and Delivery is a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters in support of their mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the potential and promise of youth throughout Palm Beach and Martin Counties,” said said Yvette Flores, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters. “We are excited to launch this new event aspect to support the talented chefs and restaurant owners in Martin County who have given selflessly to us every year.”

The “Big Deal Pass” card costs $40, and will feature “Big Deals” from area restaurants and support the nonprofit organization at the same time.
