The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast will launch its annual Christmas in July Fundraiser next month.
To participate, visit the humane society’s Palm City shelter (4100 SW Leighton Farm Avenue) and select a gift tag from the Christmas in July Giving Tree in the lobby. Each tag represents a specific need for the shelter animals.
Alternatively, supporters may donate to the online Giving Tree or donate over the phone by calling (772) 600-3216.
Both of the humane society’s Stuart thrift stores will have Christmas merchandise for sale, available from July 5-31. Central Thrift Store (2585 SE Federal Hwy.) and North Thrift Store (1099 NW 21st St.) are both open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and accept donations daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Supporters may also donate wrapped presents to place under the Christmas in July tree for shelter pets to open. These presents can be dropped off at the main shelter or at either thrift store.
