Mark your calendars! The MIDFLORIDA Event Center will partner with Budweiser and Southern Eagle Distributing to present the Port St. Lucie Country Music Tribute Bacon and BBQ Festival October 8-9. Boasting a lineup of nine national country music tribute bands, bacon and barbecue, country and Western vendors, a kids zone, and more, the weekend-long event promises fun for the whole family.
The outdoor festivities kick off at 11 a.m. on October 8 featuring the following bands: Wide Open: The Jason Aldean Experience; Beer for My Horses: The Toby Keith Tribute Show; The Ultimate Tim McGraw Tribute Show; and Pirate Flag: Kenny Chesney Tribute Band.
Beginning at noon on October 9, catch concerts by the following bands: Country Stars Tribute to Shania Twain; Walk the Line: Tribute to Johnny Cash; Country Stars Tribute to Garth Brooks; and “All My Rowdy Friends” The Ultimate Hank Williams Jr. Tribute.
Throughout the weekend, Them Sweeney Boys, a country comedy revue, will entertain the crowd with their family-friendly hilarity. To fuel the fun, a lineup of food trucks and vendors will be on site with bacon, barbecue, and Southern-style cuisine. For a little retail therapy, vendors from across Florida will showcase their wares, including fine art, jewelry, clothing, unique gifts, and handcrafted items.
The festival will also feature a dedicated kids zone, complete with a giant Jenga game, corn hole, inflatable baseball pitch, an obstacle course, rock climbing slide, a petting zoo, and more.
Tickets are $12 per day day. Guests can also purchase a two-day ticket for $20. Children ages 12 and younger are free. Parking is free.
