The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast will reach out to its supporters on Giving Tuesday (November 29), to help with the nonprofit shelter’s most pressing needs throughout the holiday season.

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.
The humane society’s goal is to raise $20,000 through its Giving Tuesday campaign, which will support the shelter’s adoption program, low cost spay and neuter program, humane education programs, and the Emergency Medical Fund. To help with that goal, an anonymous donor will match up to $20,000 of gifts on Giving Tuesday.
“We are very appreciative of this anonymous donor and hope that the offer to match up to $20,000 will inspire others to give generously on Giving Tuesday,” said Ashton Standish, the humane society’s development manager. “We appreciate all donations, large and small, because they all add up to supporting our most vulnerable shelter pet population.”
The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast invites supporters to participate by donating online or over the phone by calling (772) 600-3216.
