Fitness Classes
Get fit on the farm! This month, Newfield Farm will offer fitness events for all levels, including: mat pilates on June 4; mixed yoga on June 7, 14, 21, and 28; and kids’ farm fitness on June 7, 14, 21, and 28.
Friday Night Farm Jam
Enjoy live, outdoor music, plus yard games, food trucks, and fun for the whole family June 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. Bring your own cooler and come enjoy the sights and sounds!
Tails on the Trails: A National Trails Day Adventure
Celebrate National Trails Day on June 7 with a self-guided hike on KC Trails. Stop by the trailhead between 8 and 10 a.m. for free cold brew and dog treats. Free and open to all. Dogs must be leashed.
Full Moon Owl Prowl at KC Trails
During the full moon on June 11, Florida master naturalist and President of Audubon of Martin County John Nelson will offer expert insight about the owls that inhabit the area, their habits, and how they navigate the dark. Listen for the calls of these mysterious creatures and enjoy a peaceful, immersive journey through Florida’s nocturnal wildlife.
Sip & Sew: Totes Workshop
Learn how to make a custom tote bag on June 14. Start the workshop by choosing from a selection of stylish fabrics, then follow step-by-step guidance to cut, piece, and sew your tote—no sewing experience needed. All materials and tools will be provided, so just bring your favorite drink! Registration is $49.87.
Kids Farm Craft
Kids can get creative with edible crafts on June 20. Little ones will enjoy making tasty, imaginative treats they can eat and take home. All materials and ingredients are provided—just bring your appetite and imagination. Registration is $10.
Mini Farm Day
Saddle up and head to Newfield Farm for a delightful day of pony rides and a petting zoo on June 28. Tickets are $5.
Join the Newfield Farm team for a closer look at common Florida insects and how they may be helping or harming your garden on June 29. This hands-on class will demonstrate how to identify whether an insect is a beneficial or pest, examine organic pest management techniques and recommendations, and explore the broader role of insects in a healthy ecosystem.
