The exhibition’s bold photomontages, paintings, and textile installations created by Sobczak, Finch, and Schonenberger lead viewers into the world of surrealism–a place where dream-like images and ideas thrive. Surrealism is not only portrayed by images of the strange and unearthly, but is also influenced and shaped by the real political, social, and environmental events around us.

Viewers are invited to widen their field of vision and explore the stark beauty of celestial realms, decaying civilizations, collective pandemic memories, and more.

The exhibit will debut during an opening reception on March 8, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Admission is a $5 suggested donation. For more information, visit martinarts.org.
