MartinArts will showcase the talents of Martin County high school students with the unveiling of the thirty-eighth annual “Marvin S. Cone Annual High School Juried Art Show,” on view April 30 through June 22.

Art teachers at Martin County High School, Jensen Beach High School, South Fork High School, The Pine School, and Clark Advanced Learning Center selected each piece of artwork for entry. Upon selection for the juried show, students have the opportunity to earn cash awards for their works of photography, painting, sculpture, mixed media/assemblage, printmaking, and drawing.

The awards reception will be held at the Court House Cultural Center Gallery in Stuart. Additionally, each high school principal and the school superintendent select pieces to purchase that become a part of a permanent collection at their respective high schools and the superintendent’s office.

The exhibit will debut during the Opening Night & Awards Reception on April 30, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Admission is a $5 suggested donation.
