Stuart Sailfish Club to Host Sailfish Fest

Stuart Sailfish Club will invite the community to experience the excitement of tournament week through Sailfish Fest December 17–20

The Stuart Sailfish Club will host the return of the Seventy-Second Annual Light Tackle Sailfish Tournament, one of South Florida’s oldest sailfishing traditions. The club will invite the community to experience the excitement of tournament week at Sailfish Fest December 17–20.

First held in 1955, the Light Tackle Sailfish Tournament has long been recognized as one of the most prestigious events in the sport—drawing anglers, captains, and crews from around the world to Stuart, the “Sailfish Capital of the World.”

This year, the Stuart Sailfish Club will residents, visitors, and families to attend Sailfish Fest and cheer on the fleet. The fun begins at the Seventy-Second Annual Light Tackle Kick-Off Party at The Pearl in Stuart December 17. Guests will mingle with fellow anglers, captains, crew, and while enjoying an open bar, light bites, and raffle prizes. Tickets are $40 for Stuart Sailfish Club members and $60 for non-members.

On December 18, head to the Braggin’ Bash at Sailfish Marina. This long-standing local favorite invites the public to rally around the tournament teams as they return from Day 1 of fishing. Enjoy live music by Cole Chase, light bites, raw bar, and open bar. Tickets are $40 for members and $60 for non-members.

An Awards Dinner & Celebration will take place at The Pearl December 20. This signature evening event will feature dinner, live music, and celebration as the 2025 champions are crowned. Tickets are $120 for members and $175 for non-members.
