This December, Enjoy A Harry Potter Yule Ball And New Releases By Popular Authors
If your holiday season is anything like mine, you’ve probably been writing your to-do list since mid-July. It’s time to stop stressing over color coordinating napkins for the holiday dinner, take a breath and remember that this time of year is about enjoying the presence of family and friends.
What to Read this Month: This holiday season is a jackpot for readers. With new releases from David Baldacci, Anne Rice, Clive Cussler and more, there’s something for everyone. The new releases tables will be worth a visit every week throughout December. I’ll be starting with Patricia Cornwell’s Chaos, which follows Dr. Kay Scarpetta on her latest forensic mystery to prove that what first appears as an “act of God” is actually a bizarre and calculated murder. We’ll probably need to leave the lights on after this one.
Must-attend event: Mark your calendars for Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. as Barnes & Noble hosts its first “Harry Potter” Yule Ball complete with dancing, music, photo opportunities and more. Dust off your dress robes and find your date before all the good ones are gone.
