Read ‘Hypnosis Harry’ This Month, And Then Head To Barnes & Noble For A Book Launch Party
I can see spring on the horizon—shamrocks and bunnies and pastels, oh my! Not that we need to hibernate from chilly temperatures for too long in South Florida, but I always love the longer days of spring and the way the sun feels on my skin. It makes me adventurous, and luckily there is plenty to do this month.
What to Read:
Catherine Bailey releases her new picture book, Hypnosis Harry, a story about a young boy who learns to hypnotize his parents to avoid being told “No.” This charming story reveals the importance of a parental “No” in everyday life. After all, toys in the toaster can't be that bad of an idea, right? Join Bailey at Barnes & Noble on March 19 at 11:30 a.m. for a not-to-be-missed book launch party!
The most anticipated author event of the year, “Bookmania!,” is taking place on March 5 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Jensen Beach High School. This free community event is sponsored by The Library Foundation of Martin County and features 10 best-selling authors. Paula McLain, author of The Paris Wife and Circling the Sun, will headline this year's event, and books will be available for purchase.
Let's rescue our spring dresses from the recesses of our closets, and go adventuring in sunshine and springtime.
