This Ree Drummond Cookbook Should Be On Your Reading List This November

November is all about food in my world. I start planning Thanksgiving dinner as soon as the last trick-or-treater leaves my doorstep. OK, sometimes I start planning before they even knock.
What to read this month:
"The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Dinnertime!" by Ree Drummond was released on Oct. 20. It’s a cookbook with photo instructions you will come back to time and time again. Every Pioneer Woman recipe I cook leaves my family negotiating for the last serving. And, if you need help with Thanksgiving dinner plans, you can try "The Pioneer Woman Cooks: A Year of Holidays."
What to see at the bookstore:
It seems that everyone I know is a golfer. I, on the other hand, once hit a car while playing putt-putt. This month, Barnes & Noble welcomes golf guru Bill Kroen, author of "Golf: How Good Do You Want to Be?" and the 2016 Golf Tip-a-Day calendar. Kroen will host a Q&A and signing session on Nov. 14 at 4 p.m. Bring the family’s golf aficionado for the session, but sneak over to the café for some pumpkin cheesecake, and to plan your Thanksgiving dinner! What could be better?
