Teen Book Festival At Barnes & Noble Jensen Beach Offers Author Meet-And Greets, Giveaways
It’s officially getting warmer. I’ll be the first to admit that it’s time for some air conditioning, iced tea, sandals and light reads. These are year-round necessities.
What to Read this Month:
"The Afterlife of Billy Fingers: How My Bad-Boy Brother Proved to Me There’s Life After Death" by Annie Kagan. An unusual choice, I will admit, but our new Light Readers Book Group will be meeting at 10 a.m. on May 20 to discuss this fascinating story. Perhaps you will become a believer!
Must-Attend Event for Kids:
Biscuit the dog from the "Biscuit" storybook collection visits Barnes & Noble on Saturday, May 21 at 11:30 a.m. Costume character visits are always so much fun with storytime, snacks and photos with Biscuit!
Must-Attend Event for Teens:
We’re rescuing teens from summer boredom with our Teen Book Festival taking place June 10-12. Check with the store on specific details, but expect to meet authors, receive exclusive giveaways and find enough exciting reads to get through the summer
