Two Sisters Boutique
How it started: Sarah Stracuzzi grew up sharing a closet with her older sister, often borrowing her dresses and jewelry. So, when looking for inspiration for the name of her boutique, which opened last June, she decided to credit what inspired her wardrobe throughout the years. She called it “Two Sisters Boutique,” although her sister doesn’t have much involvement in the business besides sparking Stracuzzi’s initial interest in fashion. The store, located on Ocean Boulevard, sells original clothing, jewelry and home goods.
Favorite product: Stracuzzi favors clothing with tags from the brand RYU. “They have really unique dresses and sweater,” she says. “Everything has lace or an open back; a lot of detail.” The boutique also sells products from the brands Freeway, Eight Sixty, Primitives by Kathy and Flying Tomato, to name a few.
Price range: Clothes range from $20 to $90 while jewelry pieces cost about $15 and homegoods cost an average of $20 to $40.
Future plans: Expanding to an additional location has crossed Stacuzzi’s mind, but for now, her plan is to start carrying baby clothes, since her older sister is pregnant. “It’s hard to find anything anywhere else besides Target and the mall,” she says. So, when she takes one of her three annual buying trips to an Atlanta convention, she is hoping to bring back baby clothing that isn’t mainstream – just like everything else in the store.
