This Pudding Recipe Uses Avocados For An Indulgent Dessert Without The Guilt

There’s nothing like a gooey chocolate lava cake to finish a meal—but actually, there is. As much as a high-fat and sugary dessert may make you smile, it might not make your waistline happy in the long run.

There are many ways to enjoy sweets and indulge without the guilt. To satisfy your sweet tooth, eat foods that are healthy, natural and will fill you up. Some healthier options include:

Greek yogurt topped with strawberries, basil and a drizzle of honey

A piece of dark chocolate

Herbal tea with honey, almond milk and cinnamon

Almond butter on apple slices topped with coconut

Popcorn with cinnamon and a drizzle of honey

One of my favorite desserts to make is pudding made from avocados.

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado

3 tablespoons of cocoa powder

1 teaspoon of honey

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions:

Remove the avocado’s pit and skin, and place remaining fruit in a food processor. Add the cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract and cinnamon, and blend until smooth. Place pudding in a bowl, and sprinkle coconut shreds, berries or chopped almonds on top. Enjoy!
