Summers on the Treasure Coast may be when things start to feel a little quiet, but all that means is we finally get the chance to enjoy our lovely city for ourselves.

Here's what to do around town this July—including all of the fireworks displays and Fourth of July bashes happening in Stuart, Fort Pierce and beyond.

 

Fourth of July Festivities

Red, White & Blue Scramble

Spend your Saturday with friends or family at this Fourth of July-themed golf tournament. Register before June 29.  

July 2, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Sandridge Golf Club in Vero Beach; $240 (foursome)

 

Stars Over St. Lucie

Enjoy a dance performance by Moxie’s Dance Studio (who'll be doing a ballet, Irish step and swing routine) and live music from Wonderama at this Fourth of July bash. End the night with a bang with the dazzling fireworks display at 9 p.m.

July 4, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Fort Pierce City Marina Square; free

 

Doggy Paddle & Sail - This event has been canceled. 

Celebrate the Fourth with your furry friends! Bring dogs for a day on the water, whether that means chilling on a paddleboard or enjoying the wind on a sailboat ride. There will also be a barbecue lunch ($5), pie-eating contest and games. Event benefits Humane Society of the Treasure Coast.

July 4, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; U.S. Sailing Center of Martin County in Jensen Beach; $10 (adults), $5 (children 12 and under)

 

City of Stuart Presents 4th of July Fireworks 

Watch the sky light up in red, white and blue during this festive fireworks display. There will be multiple viewing areas throughout Historic Downtown Stuart. Be sure to bring a blanket or chair.

Food Truck Invasion

Delicious and unique foods are plentiful at the Food Truck Invasion. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to mingle with friends and enjoy live music.

What To Do Around Town In July

B & A Flea Market

Come visit the oldest and largest flea market on the Treasure Coast. With a variety of shops, music and food, this is a great place to bring the whole family to enjoy your day off.

Every Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; 2885 SE Federal Highway, Stuart; free

 

Smoking Music Festival

You’re in for a smoking weekend at Terra Fermata. Moska Project will be performing live music Saturday with special guest Victoria Leigh on Friday and special guest Spred the Dub on Saturday. Beer on tap will be provided by Cigar City Brewing, and there will be authentic Cuban cigar rolling in the garden.  

July 1-2, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Terra Fermata, Stuart; $12 (two-day pass), $5 (Friday pass), $10 (Saturday pass)

 

Pretty Princess Tea Party

Bring your little ones to meet and mingle with other princesses. Children can wear their favorite royal attire, enjoy the dress-up trunk, story time, tea time snacks, sing-alongs and crafts.

Behind-the-Scenes Tour at the Aquarium

Does your child love animals and the sea? Bring them to find out what goes on behind the scenes at the aquarium. The tour takes place every Saturday.

The Shape of Things: Hand Making a Surfboard

Mike Karol of Stoke Surfboards will demonstrate the art of creating a surfboard. The presentation will include how a board is shaped for hydrodynamics, laminated for durability, and “art-worked” to create a recognizable brand.

Boys & Girls Clubs' Chili Cook-Off

At this fundraiser for Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County, more than 40 teams will compete for awards based on chili, team spirit and fundraising. A chili eating contest, performances and talent show will also take place.

The Naked Magic Show

Good magicians don't need sleeves, and great magicians don't need pants. This boisterous R-rated magic show strips away the top hats and capes.

Can’t wait until December? Get in the Christmas spirit at this event for the whole family. There will be food, vendors, entertainment and a scavenger hunt.

This fundraiser for maternal child and pediatric services at Martin Health System will feature ample food stations, themed entertainment, and more.

Space Coast Symphony Orchestra: Russian Masters

Attend this breathtaking performance that brings together three Russian master composers: Borodin, Rachmaninov and Stravinsky.

Treasure Coast Junior Golf Tour Championship

You’ll leave in awe after this golf championship, where some of the best junior golfers will compete on the beautiful turf of the Sandridge Golf Course.

Pure Zeppelin

Your Time Is Gonna Come to witness the music, magic and energy of one of the greatest rock and roll bands of our time with this Led Zeppelin tribute performance.
