The Arts Council of Martin County has been a leader in the arts since 1980, and its annual ArtsFest started in 1988. Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the festival by attending this year's event on Feb. 10 and 11 at Memorial Park in Stuart.

ArtsFest is not only a celebration of local art, but is also the largest fundraiser for the Arts Council, which provides opportunities for people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds to discover and embrace different genres of art.

This year’s event will include fine art, a cooking competition, a literary village with featured authors, a local green market, free kids activities, live entertainment by Cracker and other performers and more.

The local artists shared tent will showcase emerging talent within the Treasure Coast community. Neighboring tents will include work done by high school art club members. Artwork shown will also be available for purchase.

ArtsFest’s kids zone is sponsored by PNC and will be Harry Potter-themed, featuring wand building workshops, spell classes and more.
