Fifth Annual Pinot & Picasso Event Will Raise Funds For Treasure Coast's Helping People Succeed

Helping People Succeed’s fifth annual Pinot & Picasso evening reception and dinner will feature the unveiling of the 2019 Art for Living Calendar, and will honor the artists behind the local artwork displayed in the calendar.

The organization has been serving the Treasure Coast for over 50 years through educational and training program services, as well as counseling, for the most vulnerable local children, families and adults.

The theme of the evening will be black and white with a “splash” of red, and will be held on Nov. 17 at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club in Palm City. It begins at 6 p.m.

A silent and live auction, an open bar, a sit-down dinner with wine pairings and jazz music by Fullhouse Entertainment will be highlights of the event.

Live auction items include a one-day fishing charter for six aboard a tournament-winning fishing yacht, The Lo Que Sea, valued at $1,800; an original oil painting by Georgia Abood, valued at $2,800; an original oil painting by Peter Vey, valued at $30,000; and a week’s stay at Santa Rosa Beach in a four-plus bedroom, beachfront house that accommodates up to 12 guests, valued at $3,000.

Guests will also have the chance to meet with the calendar’s artists, have their calendars signed and view and purchase additional paintings.

Featured artists include Carol Baehren-Landeweer; Susan Clifford; Laura DeBerard; Kevin Hutchinson; Ginny Jones; Mary Loud Knox; Val Lally; Dan Mackin; Sue Ann Mosley-Saleby; Pam Patterson; Kathy Pitts; Diane Raymond; and Marian Vitale.

Tickets to Pinot & Picasso are $200 per person, and can be purchased at
