Here’s What To Expect At The Annual Big Taste Of Martin County Event To Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters
One of the Treasure Coast’s favorite festivals is coming back this fall. Big Taste of Martin County, the food and wine festival, will return to the Stuart Jet Center on Oct. 23.
Big Taste of Martin County, the annual fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin counties, will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The event had over 700 attendees last year, where guests were surrounded by private jets and culinary experiences. This year’s festival will feature local food and global wines. New to the lineup is an array of craft beers from local breweries, such as Sailfish Brewing Company and Islamorada Beer Company.
Guests can enjoy a tasting and sampling of wines, liquor and food from 30 Martin County restaurants.
Restaurant participants include Stuart Boathouse, Berry Fresh, Kyle G’s, Mondo’s Wood Fired Pizza and Whit’s Frozen Custard.
A raffle will also be at the event, with the chance to win golf items, a laser lip treatment from Slim Body Laser Spa, theme park tickets, hotel stays, Southwest airline tickets and a cruise to the Bahamas for two.
Smooth Grooves will be in attendance to perform jazz music.
Pre-sale tickets cost $45, and after Sept. 23 early-bird tickets will cost $50. At the door, tickets will cost $55. Tickets for children 12 and under are free.
