Hey, Stuart, Wawa Is Now Open, And You Can Get Free Coffee Through Sept. 25

Stuart, say hello to Wawa.

The Pennsylvania-based chain of convenience stores and gas stations has opened its first location in Martin County. Beloved for its coffee and made-to-order hoagies, Wawa holds a loyal fan base, primarily made up of Northeasterners who grew up with the chain.

The Stuart store held its grand opening on Sept. 15, complete with a parade and ribbon-cutting ceremony, a hoagie-building competition, and a visit from mascot Wally Goose. To continue the celebration, Wawa will also be giving away free coffee to customers through Sept. 25.

The 5,943-square-foot convenience store boasts new in-store graphics and colors, large expanded windows, and also features an accompanying gasoline facility.

Wawa will continue its Treasure Coast expansion when it comes to Vero Beach this fall. The chain has said it expects to open 120 total locations in Southeast Florida over the next several years.
