Martin County Home to State's Official 25th Scenic Highway

The Martin Grade scenic corridor has been recognized as Florida’s 25th official scenic highway.

The Martin Grade is home to dozens of 100-year-old oak trees that line the road, giving it a beautiful canopy.

For eight years, Martin County residents have worked to preserve the highway from city proposals to widen the area, which would've resulted in the bulldozing of trees.

Centrally located between Stuart, Indiantown and Okeechobee, the Martin Grade Scenic Highway runs between Allapattah Road and Warfield Boulevard.
