Port St. Lucie Locals Can Now Enjoy Food Trucks For Lunch Or Dinner Every Day Through March
Port St. Lucie locals who want to step out of the office for lunch can head outdoors for a food truck roundup with ever-changing meal options.
The City of Port St. Lucie has launched PSL Eats, an "outdoor food court" of food trucks, which will run through March 31. The City Council unanimously approved this two-month pilot program on Jan. 25.
This means locals will be able to enjoy a rotating selection of lunch and dinner options on a daily basis.
"This mobile food court will give folks the opportunity to take a break from their busy day and let someone else do the cooking, while enjoying the beautiful South Florida weather," the City of Port St. Lucie website reads.
Food trucks will be parked outside the Port St. Lucie Civic Center on Walkers Crossing. Lunch trucks will be serving meals from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner trucks, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In the first two weeks, local food trucks such as Think Greek, Beachside Bistro, Buggy Bistro, Buenos Nachos and Smoke King BBQ are signed up to participate.
Tables and seating will be available in the area, but guests are also encouraged to bring a blanket to picnic in the grass. Admission and parking are free.
Food trucks interested in participating should contact Natalie Neil, City of Port St. Lucie's event specialist, at 772.807.4489.
