REALTOR® Association of Martin County Is Gathering Supplies For Hurricane Harvey Victims

Anyone eager to alleviate the suffering of individuals and families in Texas impacted by Hurricane Harvey is invited to drop off supplies to the REALTOR® Association of Martin County (RAMC).

Located at 43 SW Monterey Road, RAMC is coordinating with Florida Realtors for transport and delivery of the items, some of which will also benefit residents contending with flooding in southwest Florida.

The public is asked to drop off items no later than noon on Friday, Sept. 1. The public can call 772.283.1748 with questions.

Needed Items

RAMC strongly emphasizes travel-size products packaged in one gallon-sized Ziploc bags, weighing approximately two pounds, including:

  • Adhesive bandages
  • Safety pins
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Dental floss
  • Deodorant
  • Body wash
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Disposable razors
  • Shaving cream
  • Comb and brushes
  • Bars of soap or body wash
  • Cotton swabs
  • Pocket tissues
  • Lotion 
  • Mouthwash
  • Lip balm
  • Flashlights with batteries
  • Antibacterial ointment
  • Fleece throws
  • Deck of cards
  • Nail clippers
