The Stuart Christmas Parade Is All Set Into Get Us In The Holiday Spirit
It’s time to get into the holiday spirit, Stuart.
The 55th annual Christmas parade is set to kick off Dec. 4 at 7 p.m., rain or shine.
Start the weekend off right by watching middle and high school marching bands and festive floats—keeping with this year’s theme of “It’s A Magical Christmas”—make their way down our streets.
This year, the parade will be heading into town.
“We will be lining up on Monterey Road, taking a left at Ocean Boulevard, and ending at Georgia Avenue,” the parade announced on its website.
Floats will be judged across a variety of categories, including best light display and best use of music. The judges will also select their favorite float. Judging will take place in front of the grandstand, just east of Hospital Road.
Of course the Christmas parade is only one of many festivals taking place this season. We’ve rounded up our top 16 choices in a festival guide that will be sure to come in handy this winter and spring.
