Stuart’s Annual TrawlerFest Will Showcase Boats In-Water, Marine Accessories And More
TrawlerFest is set to return to Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort & Marina in Stuart from March 8 to 11. The boat show, part of a series hosted by PassageMaker magazine, caters specifically to cruising enthusiasts.
A trawler is a vessel designed to be used when trawling, which is a type of fishing that involves dragging or pulling a trawl, or large net, behind the boat.
Recreational trawlers have a similar design, but are meant more for cruising. The event will feature an array of these boats, both new and pre-owned, as well as the latest in marine accessories and services.
In addition to the in-water display, the four-day event also offers educational seminars. Topics include operational instruction on boat handling, anchoring and cruising different waterways, as well as engines and electronics, survival lessons and insights into the boat buying process.
Visitors will be able to stroll the docks, soak in the boating culture and enjoy an immersive experience designed to delight anyone who enjoys being out on the water.
March 8 to March 11
The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
