Tune In To Wave 92.7 For The St. Jude Radiothon When Stuart Magazine Becomes The Angel Of The Hour
The Treasure Coast's country radio station is looking to help children fighting cancer.
Wave 92.7, an iHeartMedia channel, is hosting its first-ever Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 25 and Feb. 26, and Stuart Magazine will be supporting the cause.
St. Jude Children's Hospital is a pediatric treatment and research facility based in Memphis, Tennessee, where uninsured patients are never asked to pay for treatment. It's one of America's largest health care charities.
Throughout the day Thursday and Friday, Wave 92.7 will be hosting a live broadcast of St. Jude patient stories featuring local patients and country celebrities.
"The Bobby Bones Show" will air a special St. Jude show from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. each morning, and radio hosts Heath West and Eric Hunter will take over the broadcast for the rest of the day.
During select hours of the St. Jude Radiothon, local businesses along the Treasure Coast will sponsor a spot in support of St. Jude. These sponsors are called the Angel of the Hour.
Stuart Magazine will be the Angel of the Hour at 8 a.m. Friday, with some of our staff manning the phone bank to accept donor pledges. We hope you tune in!
Listeners can also head to The Wave's website to donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online.
