Vote For The City Of Stuart In TNEMEC’s Tank Of The Year Competition
Stuart’s water tower is an iconic and historical landmark in the community, and now it’s time to show it some love.
The City of Stuart’s water tower has been nominated for TNEMEC’s 2017 Tank of the Year competition.
Stuart’s water tower holds 250,000 gallons of water and was originally constructed in 1959. It was later encircled with the American flag, painted as a suggestion by the Martin County High School bicentennial class of 1976. In 1991 the city commission put two American flags and the city name on the tower, which have remained to this day.
