Gloria Pascucci, David Marks Marry In Stuart Memorial Park, And The Photos Are Stunning

What they do: Gloria, 28, is a real estate agent covering the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach, and David, 37, is a commercial fisherman out of Port Salerno.

How they met: Gloria’s family moved to Florida from Massachusetts and bought a home in Stuart across the street from David’s parents. Gloria befriended David’s brother, and one night when the families were out in Stuart, the couple met and began dating shortly after.

How they knew they’d met “the one”: Gloria says it was love at first sight. “We were immediately attracted to one another, and the more we got to know about each other, it seemed meant to be. We are extremely compatible, sharing similar interests in surfing, fishing, diving and traveling,” she says.

On the proposal: David asked Gloria if she wanted to go kayaking to the St. Lucie Inlet to watch the sunset, so the couple paddled out. “David seemed nervous the whole ride. Little did I know there was a box with a diamond ring in his pocket,” Gloria says. “We pulled the kayak up on the sand, walked up the hill like we always did. I was ahead of him, and he said, ‘Hold on one second, I’m going to do something.’ I turned around, he got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him.”

On selecting the site for the ceremony and reception: The couple chose Memorial Park for the ceremony for its natural beauty in order to take pictures. For the reception, they chose a yacht cruise from the St. Lucie River to Jupiter Inlet and back. “The St. Lucie River and the ocean are our backyard, and we wanted a unique and fun event that no one would ever forget,” Gloria says.
