Natalie Elliott, Brian Blumenauer’s Wedding At Tradition Town Hall Was An Elegant Affair
What They Do: Natalie, 27, is an emergency medicine resident physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and Brian, 28, is a general surgery resident physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
How They Met: The couple met in chemistry class during their first undergraduate class at the University of Florida in 2006.
How They Knew They'd Found “The One”: For Brian, he says he knew Natalie was “the one” when he first saw her in chemistry class. Natalie says they fell in love thanks to late night study sessions throughout college and medical school.
On The Proposal: The couple was at Disney World on Natalie's birthday when Brian proposed. “He led me to Cinderella's Wishing Well adjacent to the castle and asked for me to make a wish,” she says. “Afterward, I turned around and he was on one knee with our engagement ring. Disney photographers were there to take pictures so we have that entire moment captured for our keepsake.”
Selecting The Venue: Natalie grew up in Stuart, so she always imagined getting married close to home. They selected Tradition Town Hall for the ceremony and said their vows in the gazebo overlooking the lake as the sun set.
On The Theme: The couple selected ivory and gold for their winter wedding. “We wanted the reception to feel elegant and classy,” Natalie says.
