Letter From The Publisher: Looking At Our Community's Future

The time had come. Our celebrity golfer from Martin County was about to walk through the door at his Aussie-inspired clubhouse, the Medalist Village. “The Shark,” Greg Norman, had just returned from hitting some golf balls around the course, and I was right—he was handsome and courteous, just as I had read in every golf magazine. Even at 63, it seems he hasn’t changed. Polite and humble, he is one of the best models I have worked with—natural and beaming with strength. The Medalist Village clubhouse was just what we needed for this casual photo shoot. Writer Eric Barton, photographer Austen Amacker and our crew, including stylist Jodi Belden and my assistant Kayla Walsh, had a great time working with this legend. Special thank you to Greg’s director of corporate communications, Jane, for all of her help and assistance. Read more about Greg and the Medalist Village on page 66, and know you too can belong here as a private member and maybe even dine with the Shark.

With so many new communities popping up on the Treasure Coast, I wanted to give everyone an update. Ike Crumpler put his creative writing to use and has successfully given us an interesting perspective on the up-and-coming neighborhoods. If you are new to the area, one of these properties could be called home by you soon! See page 57.

If you are a reader and a business owner who isn’t interested in print ads but wants to give digital marketing a try, don’t forget we are much more than a magazine. If you are looking to target clients who are looking for your product or service online, you should give me a call. I can get that successful digital ad campaign you have been looking for at a very affordable price.

If you have a special holiday item you want to let the community know about, be sure to contact us for our famous “Giftology” section coming to our December issue. This is great for those who are hard to shop for, or maybe you’re just looking for something unique and local for yourself! Either way, make sure you let us know you’re interested by sending me an email for a chance to have your item included.

Have a great Thanksgiving from all of us at Stuart Magazine.
