This Month, We’re All About Elite Travel And Jetting Off To New Heights
I love seeing the beautiful, private jets take off into the air above my house. I always wonder about that lucky person who is likely sipping on a glass of Veuve Clicquot while daydreaming about his or her next destination. We’re coming to the end of high season, when our residents fleeing from the cold have sought refuge in our beautiful Treasure Coast. We attract the most affluent, sexy jetsetters from around the globe. Sounds mythical, but it’s true. Anyone who has spent December through April here can attest to this. To get a glimpse of the lives of the rich and famous, check out our story, “Jetsetters.”
Taking inspiration from the arts, our annual dinner party story gives us an update on the inspiring local arts community. The dinner was held at the home of artist Skip Hartzell and his wife, Jeanette, located on the North Fork of the St. Lucie River. Art directors, artists, jazz musicians and community arts advocates mingled in the Hartzell’s beautifully harmonized home that incorporates an art gallery/studio. Thank you to the Hartzells for offering up their home, to Ooo La La Catering for providing hors d’oeuvres and dinner, and to Kimberly Perron Interiors for helping us put it all together!
Going back to being jet fueled, we are so excited about our new numbers here at Gulfstream Media Group (see diagram below). We are taking our social media to another level, surpassing other publications. Our social media reach helps us promote our clients, giving their businesses even greater exposure. We realize that it’s important to serve our readers with our print publication, but it’s just as important to offer them additional and enhanced information online and through our social media channels.
As the season draws to a close, we want to thank all of those who contributed to the success of our magazine in 2015 and 2016. A special thanks goes to my personal assistant, Kayla Walsh, our new contributing editor, Ike Crumpler, and our writers and photographers (for staff bios, turn to page 54). I couldn’t have done it without you.
In keeping with our mission to deliver a luxury product to our readers, we welcome our new digital audience. Please visit us on StuartMagazine.com and on all of our social media platforms. See you in May for “The Women’s Issue.”
